For some reason, the door to the Bar has been consistently showing up in Lorne's mother's laundry room the entire time he's been visiting her.

So it's a somewhat gentle whirring, a pleasant warmth, and the scent of fabric softener that greets them when he leads Jack through the door.

"It's not as exciting as Atlantis," he says with an apologetic smile.

"I love you," Jack says and kisses him.

"I love you too," Lorne murmurs, kissing him and sliding his hand down Jack's back.

Jack kisses his neck and holds him tight. "It's getting dark," he observes but makes no move to go just yet.

"It is, yeah," Lorne agrees, wrapping his arms around Jack's waist. "Getting cold?"

"A little." He snuggles close to Lorne's body.

Lorne smiles and holds him tighter. "You wanna go inside, or do you just want me to keep you warm?"

"I just want you to keep me warm, of course," Jack mumbles into his chest and then kisses his shoulder.

"And how should I do that?" Lorne murmurs, smiling into Jack's hair and running his hands over Jack's back.

"That," Jack whispers, "keep doing that."

Lorne buries his nose in Jack's hair and breathes deep, sliding his hands slowly over Jack's skin. "Like this, darlin'?"

"Mm, yes," Jack whispers. "That's perfect . . . that's just right."

"Don't go falling asleep on me," Lorne whispers, still moving his hands across Jack's body.

"I'm not asleep." He kisses Lorne's chest. "I'm wide awake."

"Good. Much as I'd love to, I don't think I could carry you all the way back to the house." Lorne slides his hand further down Jack's back to his ass, kneading it gently.

Jack quietly laughs. "If I fell asleep you could wake me," he whispers. "I wouldn't expect you to carry me."

"But I wouldn't want to wake you," Lorne murmurs, kissing Jack's forehead. "We'd end up out here all night."

"We'd catch cold. No bedrolls."

"Exactly. So no falling asleep."

"No falling asleep," Jack repeats softly, kissing along his chest.

Lorne smiles and slides his fingertips up Jack's spine and the back of his neck into his hair.

Jack moves up to kiss his mouth. "But we should get inside soon. My feet are getting cold."

Lorne kisses him back, slow and deep. "Okay," he whispers, pulling back. "Let's get you inside and into a nice, warm bed."

Jack hands Lorne his shirt and kisses his mouth quickly.

Lorne pulls his shirt over his head and pulls his jeans back up, tucking himself in and buttoning them. He stands and offers a hand to Jack.

Jack dresses himself quickly and takes Lorne's hand, letting him pull him to his feet.
