Jack's room, post-swimming

Lorne follows Jack up to his room, a little surprised at how easy it is to fall back into this routine. He kisses Jack deeply once they're inside, his hands shaking just a little.

"I suspect there is no room service," Jack says, "and we will just have to get dressed when we're hungry and go back downstairs."

"Mmm...too bad," Lorne says, kissing Jack's shoulder. "I'd like to keep you naked all day."

"Clothing comes off again," Jack points out, smiling.

"True," Lorne agrees, shrugging and pressing another kiss to Jack's shoulder. "But there's so much effort involved."

"You can borrow a pair of my dungarees and one of my t-shirts," Jack says generously. "So you don't have to get back into that uniform."

"You don't like my uniform?"

Lorne's pout is even more amusing with the extra years on his face.

"I love your uniform." Jack kisses him. "But you were complaining about all that work . . ."

"Mmm...I was, wasn't I? And you always take such good care of me."

"I try to," Jack says softly and kisses him again.

"And you do a very good job," Lorne whispers against his lips.

Jack smiles and runs his hand through Lorne's hair again. "I love you, sweetheart."

"I love you too, babe," Lorne murmurs, kissing Jack again.

"Need to rest a little? I do."

"Yeah," Lorne says softly. "I could use the rest." He lays back down at Jack's side.

Jack kisses him and pulls a blanket over them.

"Roll over," Lorne murmurs, pushing Jack gently onto his side and spooning up behind him.

Jack chuckles and does as he's told, settling comfortably in his arms.

"Missed holding you like this," Lorne whispers, kissing the back of Jack's neck.

"Missed being held," Jack murmurs.

"I'll hold you as long as you want, darlin'," Lorne whispers.

Jack rubs his arms and kisses his hand. "I know."

Lorne smiles and holds Jack a little tighter.

Jack nestles back against him and soon his breathing grows even and slow.

Lorne spends a little more time running his nose along Jack's hairline and kissing his neck before letting his eyes drift shut.
