1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
5'9"-ish, a bit stocky, more on the athletic side.
2. How old is he?
I keep losing track due to Millitime/me not playing him much, but I believe he's somewhere around 40 or 41.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He has very good posture, carrying himself with a somewhat unmistakable military bearing.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Excellent health, excellent fitness, no illnesses or disabilities.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's quite attractive. (Or I think so, at least.) He is getting older, so he's developing crow's feet, but his looks are very all-American. He knows he's attractive, though he tends to see the flaws more and more as he gets older.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He's fairly tanned. It's hard not to be on Atlantis. Clear skin. Various scars from different missions, most within the last seven or eight years.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Dark brown, military short, almost always very neat. He does get odd bedhead sort of hair when he's sleepwalking or has been wearing a spacesuit...

Blue.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He has a really, quite lovely smile.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
His shoulders and neck.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian?
Mostly he wears a uniform. When he's off-duty, it's mostly jeans and t-shirts or button-ups. He likes blue a lot.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
They fit well, and they're always comfortable. Except his dress blues, which he kind of hates.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Nope. See above.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer-briefs.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
A bit deep, a bit on the nasally side.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Lorne's voice is as relaxed as the rest of him. He talks not exactly slowly, but evenly.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He has the American tendency to drop the g on words that end in ing. And he calls pretty much the entire science contingency 'doc'.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English. And a bit of German.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope. Other than adding sir or ma'am in official situations, he pretty much speaks the same all the time.

Extrovert.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Even-tempered, though when he gets mad, he really gets mad. He's mostly cheerful and laid-back, though he has ambition. He cares more about doing his job well and doing the right thing than being promoted.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's ostensibly relaxed because he knows it puts people at ease, but he's learned to be suspicious, so it takes a while for him to really trust people.

That he's not straight. At least not until the DADT repeal goes through.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
His dad died just after he graduated high school. They weren't terribly close, mostly because his dad was off on assignment most of the time when Lorne was growing up. But Lorne idolized his dad, and wanted more than anything to make him proud. He's quite close to his mom. There were several years when he was very young that she was his only friend.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He has one sister. They had the general sibling animosity growing up, but they became much closer after their dad died.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
He adores his nephews. One of his only regrets being in Atlantis is that he can't be around them more.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
He thinks of his team as family. He'd do anything to protect them. And Jack is family, of course.

He's widowed. He was married quite briefly after high school. She died in a car wreck.

He's currently very happily entangled with the original Jack Harkness. They built a cabin up in the mountains behind Milliways where he spends most/all of his time when he's there.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Probably some adorably cute girl in elementary school. And Jack is his current crush.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Sense of humor, honesty, reliability, looks.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
No children. He'd like some, but he doesn't see that happening. He's good with kids, though.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
He has Enemies in the sense of being literally at war just now. No rivals, really, but he and McKay are definitely antagonistic.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
3.5-ish

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He likes domestic-y sex. He's a very big fan of fucking Jack in the kitchen or in front of the fire. And he likes outdoor sex. Massive ego turns him off.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He's a Taurus, I believe, but I use his actor's birthday so that's not really accurate. He fits the type, though.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He's a bit spiritual. His mom was/is a hippy, and he sort of soaked in that growing up. He hates organized religion as a result of his job.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Lorne's a big fan of the golden rule. Beyond that, he pretty much thinks anyone he doesn't have reason to kill is worth more than he is, and he'll reluctantly lay down his life for them if need be. He'd gladly lay down his life for the people he cares about, and damn them if they try to put up a fuss. He's occasionally had to compromise his deep-seated need to protect everyone around him on his job, but since working for Sheppard, it hasn't happened nearly as much.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He's tolerant provided they are. He has, however been involved in a war that was essentially preventing a group of priests from taking over the galaxy for their religion, so he really doesn't like religious officials in general.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
See above Re: religion. He also has a somewhat healthy distrust of aliens who look distinctly alien.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
He's quite comfortable. He doesn't have much for bills in Atlantis, but he's getting hazard pay for being out there.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He was a military brat and then a military officer. That's pretty much it.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in Atlantis (or his cabin with Jack), and he keeps his quarters in pristine condition. Most of the time.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
People he cares about. He never misses a birthday.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's the XO of a floating, spaceship city in another galaxy. He's excellent at it, and he can't think of anything else he'd rather do.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He likes flying and sports, and what little free time he has is spent painting, working out, or playing pickup-whatever-people-are-playing-today.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He eats what's available in the mess on any given day, but he's a big fan of chocolate and red meat and beer and bourbon. Also coffee. Lots of coffee.
