Jack closes his eyes and smiles. "I love you too, sweetheart."

Lorne smiles and kisses his hair again. "I'm glad you got to meet my mom. I want to share as much of my life with you as I can."

Jack is quiet a moment. "I wish I could show you mine."

Lorne sighs softly and wraps his arms around Jack. "I wish you could too," he whispers.

Jack kisses him again. "Enough of that, sweetheart. I'm happy where I am." another kiss. "With you."

Lorne smiles and kisses him. "So am I, babe."

"Should we head back to your mom's soon?"

Lorne nods and kisses him again. "Yeah, we probably should. Don't want her holding dinner for us."

Jack nods and rolls off him, and sits up. He slowly stretches before rising and gathering his clothes.

Lorne rolls onto his side and props his head on his hand, watching Jack and smiling.

Jack starts dressing, and then pauses when he notices Lorne. "What?"

"Just admiring the view," Lorne says.

He watches Jack for a moment more, then pushes himself up to find his clothes.

Jack laughs and shakes his head, and when he's dressed he sits on the bed to wait for Lorne.

Lorne tugs his clothes on quickly and pulls Jack to his feet, kissing him.

Jack holds Lorne's face and kisses him back until he feels it's wise to pull away. "Come on," he says quietly.

Lorne smiles into the kisses, and takes one last glance around the room to make sure they have everything before taking Jack's hand and pulling him out the door.

Jack leans his head on Lorne's shoulder as they drive back this mother's house.

Lorne is beginning to wish they'd taken his granddad's old truck so they could cuddle properly while he drives.

He does kiss the top of Jack's head periodically though, and it's not long before they arrive at the house.

"I don't have any luggage," Jack realizes. "Will your mom notice--and wonder?" He fidgets a little.

Lorne kisses him softly. "If she asks, we'll just say that you hadn't planned on spending the night."

Jack nods, then quietly chuckles. "Your mother's going to think I came here just to fuck you."

Lorne laughs. "She might. And to fly. Don't forget the flying."

"And the flying." He squeezes Lorne's hand. "Which was amazing, sweetheart."

"Good," Lorne says softly, kissing Jack one more time before leading him into the house.

Inside, it smells of fried chicken and apple pie.

Jack inhales slowly. The food at the bar is just fine--but this is home-cooking, which he hasn't had for years.
