Lorne & Jack in the cabin

These things always take longer than one thinks they will.

However, the cabin is finally finished: floors laid, most of the furniture built, stairs to the loft in, plumbing finished.

It feels...good to be done.

It feels even better to be sharing it with Jack.

"Fair enough," Lorne says, chuckling.

"Do you know how to tango?"

"I do," Jack says, hands going to Lorne's hips. "Shall I teach you?"

"No," Lorne says. "I know how. Just wanted to make sure you did." He slips an arm around Jack's waist and steps toward him in time with the music.

Jack lets Lorne lead, smiling through the intricate steps.

Lorne keeps their bodies close as they dance. It's been a while since he's done any sort of formal dancing, so he's a little rusty at first, but once he gets into the groove, he's actually quite graceful.

It wouldn't matter to Jack if he had two left feet, of course.

Once the song has ended, Lorne dips Jack once for good measure and kisses him slowly as he pulls him back up.

Jack laughs against his lips and kisses him back.

"Okay," Lorne says, smiling. "Now we can test out the bed."

Jack laughs again and tugs on Lorne's hand. "Come on, then, you."

Lorne lets Jack lead him to the stairs. "You're not going to carry me again are you?"

"Not this time. But I may ravish you unrepentantly."

"Yes, please," Lorne murmurs, kissing Jack deeply.

Jack kisses him and then climbs up the stairs, dropping his sweater and shirt as he goes.

Lorne watches him go for a moment, very much appreciating the view, then follows, tugging his sweater off as well.

Jack kicks off his boots and lies back on the bed, barechested and smiling.

"Oh, baby," Lorne breathes. "Fuck, you're beautiful." He toes off his boots and starts unbuttoning his jeans.

Jack spreads out his arms and arches his chest, looking like BEEFCAKE. "So are you, baby."

Lorne very much appreciates the arching, as evidenced by the soft moan that escapes his lips. He pushes his jeans down and off and crawls on top of Jack.

Jack wraps his arms around Lorne's chest and kisses him slowly.

Lorne frames Jack's head with his arms and flicks his tongue against Jack's lips.

Jack moans quietly, pressing up his hips.

Lorne rolls his hips slowly against Jack's, sliding his tongue between Jack's lips.
