There's a small cabin a little ways up the mountain behind Milliways. It's cozy-looking and inviting, smoke streaming softly from the chimney. It's well-lit and welcoming on a cold, snowy night.
There are drinks of every sort (from coffee and hot cider to wine and beer) in the kitchen, and several plates are laid out with holiday-ish treats: gingerbread, sugar cookies, fudge, etc.
Curiosity brought the young woman here, and she watches the table before nabbing a couple cookies, a glass of wine, and leaving a tell stack of brownies.
Lorne looks well satisfied as he leans against the kitchen counter, sipping his beer. Maybe it's the party, maybe it's the alcohol, maybe it's the cabin itself.
Whatever's causing it, he's clearly glad to be here.
It's not the largest of cabins, and there's no electricity, so the light comes only from the fireplace and a few kerosene lamps scattered around the room. But there's a small iPod hooked up to some speakers playing in the corner of the room, and most of the furniture has been pushed towards the fireplace to make a sort of make-shift dance floor.
The Devil plays the wallflower, watching the open space and the people. Dance is good, but more often than not, she needs to work double hard to get a dance.
"Yeah, I do. Thought you could use live music?" The hands over the thick folder with the music sheets, party songs, things to dance to. "Pick what you want."
To one side of the main room is a small, stone fireplace, cheerfully blazing. Around it are gathered bits and pieces of furniture, a couch and several chairs. It makes a warm, cozy place for chatting and enjoying the food and drink.
All around the cabin, there's a thick blanket of snow on the ground. It could be romantic, if you're into that sort of thing.
On the other hand, it might be wise to be on the lookout for projectiles while out here. The trees provide excellent cover for any would-be assailants, and snowball fights are a Grand Winter Tradition.

Requests are welcome!

Nope, she is not, you are having hallucinations. That is not the pile of snowballs you are looking for.
