There are noises coming from Lorne’s closet that shouldn’t be coming from any closet. Clinking glasses and laughter and talking and…is that music?

And then Lorne steps out of the closet (pardon the pun) ahead of Jack.

“It’s not much,” he says, glancing around the sparsely furnished room, “but it’s home.”

"Mmhm." Lorne pulls the blankets up around them and curls into Jack. "You okay like this?"

"I'm okay." He kisses Lorne's forehead. "I'm completely okay."

"Good," Lorne murmurs. He kisses Jack's throat and settles in next to him.

Jack leans his head against Lorne's and relaxes. He takes Lorne's hand.

Lorne weaves their fingers together and whispers, "I love you, darlin'."

"I love you," Jack whispers and squeezes his fingers tightly.

Lorne relaxes against him, and his breathing evens out as his eyes drift shut.
