There are noises coming from Lorne’s closet that shouldn’t be coming from any closet. Clinking glasses and laughter and talking and…is that music?

And then Lorne steps out of the closet (pardon the pun) ahead of Jack.

“It’s not much,” he says, glancing around the sparsely furnished room, “but it’s home.”

"I'm sorry I get so melancholy," he says quietly. "It's hard not to, sometimes."

"You don't have to apologize. I'm sure I'll get melancholy sometimes too." He lets go of Jack's hand to guide the jumper into its berth.

Jack folds his hands together, sighing when the jumper glides into place. "It was beautiful," he says again. "Thank you for taking me."

"You're welcome, darlin'," Lorne says, smiling at him. "I'm glad you got to fly again."

Jack reaches over and scruffs his fingers through Lorne's hair.

Lorne laughs and takes Jack's hand, standing and pulling Jack to his feet. "C'mon, you."

Jack follows him, pulling him close for a moment for another kiss.

Lorne kisses him back, holding him close just for a bit. "We should clean up a bit before we go," he whispers, pulling back to pick up the blanket and start folding it.

"Yes, of course." He gathers up banana peels and lunch bags.

Lorne stows the blanket back in its bin and takes the garbage from Jack, tossing it into a convenient trash receptacle. "Ready?"

"I'm ready." Jack takes a deep breath and lets it out.

Lorne kisses him quickly one last time and hits the button to open the rear hatch.

Jack shoves his hands into this pockets to keep from taking Lorne's hand again and follows him down the ramp.

Lorne takes them past the security sergeant again, saying, "You can put her back in rotation any time. Looks like Zelenka got the problem fixed," as they pass and heading for the nearest transporter.

Jack manages to keep from chuckling until they're in the transporter. "We can't excuse the dishevelment by saying we were flying with the windows down."

Lorne smirks at him. "All sorts of things could happen in a jumper. We could have gone to the mainland and played football with the kids." He touches the screen for the transporter nearest his quarters.

"We should do that sometime." He rocks back on his heels.

"Next time," Lorne says as the door opens again, then takes off down the hall toward his quarters at a brisk walk.

Jack smiles at the thought of next time and follows him, brisk as well.

Lorne reaches his quarters and grins at Jack as he opens the door, giving a quick glance up and down the hall to make sure it's deserted before grabbing the front of Jack's shirt and pulling him in.

Jack yelps and laughs, and takes Lorne in his arms for a hard, hungry kiss.

Lorne kisses him back, just as hard, tangling his fingers in Jack's hair and thinking the door shut and locked.

jack pushes him against the nearest wall and kisses him, working a thigh between Lorne's legs.

Lorne shoves Jack's jacket off his shoulders and slides his hands up Jack's stomach under his shirt.

Jack yanks off his shirt and gets to work on Lorne's, nibbling his neck as he tugs it up.
