Lorne smiles as he watches him for a moment, then starts pulling on his own uniform. "You two want to be alone?"

[ooc: Uh huh. More than a bit.]

"Oh, I think we both know it'll never last," Jack says and starts getting dressed. "Merely a passing fancy."

"Good," Lorne says, sitting down to pull on his boots. "I was going to start getting jealous there."

Jack climbs onto his lap, bare-chested, and kisses him. "You're the only one for me," he says in a low, amused voice.

Lorne kisses him back and leans back on his hands to look at Jack. He's got that confused/flattered/pleased look again. "Good," he whispers. "You're...the only one for me, too."

"Too serious?" Jack says quietly, hands on Lorne's chest.

"No," Lorne says, shaking his head. "Just...we've never said, and...I didn't want to assume."

"Oh," Jack says softly. "There isn't anybody else, that's all. I . . . like you best." He caresses Lorne's chest a moment more and then climbs off him to finish getting dressed.

Lorne stands and catches Jack's wrist. "Hey," he says quietly, pulling Jack closer and kissing him softly. "I like you best too, babe."

Jack smiles and kisses him back. "Show me how to put this thing on. All these . . . loops and things."

"Here," Lorne says, pulling Jack's jacket on and fastening it up the front.

He stands back and looks at Jack appreciatively for a moment. "Damn," he whispers.

Jack looks down at himself. "Don't I look all right?"

"Oh, you look more than all right, darlin'," Lorne mutters, not taking his eyes off Jack. "You look damn hot."

"And that's good, right?"

Lorne grins. "That's good." He takes hold of Jack's hips and pulls him close for a kiss. "That's very good."

Jack wraps his arms around Lorne's neck. "Good."

He looks down at Lorne's lips. "Take me flying," he says softly. "You can distract me again later."

"Promise?" Lorne whispers, smiling softly.

"Promise. You did ask me to spend the night--I want to."

Lorne's smile broadens. "Good." He just smiles at Jack for a moment and then clears his throat. "Um...ready to go flying?"

"Take me up there, flyboy," says Jack.

"Okay." Lorne hooks his fingers into the lapels of Jack's jacket and pulls him in for a quick kiss. He heads for the door and waves his hand over the panel to open it.

Jack's eyes widen when he sees the door slide open at Lorne's wave.

Lorne grins and starts to reach for Jack's hand but pulls back, smiling apologetically. "Come on," he says quietly.

"Of course," Jack says and puts his hands in his pockets. He's used to that sort of restriction.

Lorne leads him down the hallway to a transporter, waving his hand in front of it and stepping inside when the door opens. "I figured we'd stop by the mess and pick something up for lunch before we go."
